Saturday class cards August 2013

The first two cards above are all the rage at the moment with the easy “sunburst technique”. The gorgeous butterfly card is made using instructions from the fabulous Tami White, using the Stampin’ up Bitty Butterfly punch and Papillon  matching Potpourri Stamp set.

The first card is made by stamping the flowers / leaves in Whisper White craft ink, then using the matching framelits, make a mask with the Big Shot. The mask is placed over the matching flower / leaf and sponging over with classic ink. Very effective.

The third card was sent to me by my lovely up-line Vicki Were, I cased the card and we made it in class last Saturday, using Crushed Curry as the main colour, and sponging all edges. This used the lovely stamp set “Happy Day”.

This set of 3 cards are made using the new Pansy punch and matching Flower Shop stamp set. The original design was by Rhonda Price, she used the Fancy Fan embossing folder, I changed it to using the Woodgrain Embossing folder.

The first card is made using strips of cardstock, layered onto a plain piece of card, this was then run through the Big Shot with an embossing folder. In this case the new Modern Mosaic Embossing Folder. The ribbon is the new 2013-2015 in colour Ruffle Stretch Trim, with the ribbon stretching, it made it a breeze to attach to the back of the cardstock circle. The clay rose was coloured with Coastal Cabana to match the ribbon.

The next card was cased from Patti Long Bossi and also uses the new Pansy Punch and matching Flower Shop Stamp set.

The last card is loosely cased from Pamela Staples,  and was fun to make. Once again it uses the Pansy Punch and Flower Shop Stamp set. This time the flower was stamped on vellum using Versamark and embossed with White embossing powder. The flower was coloured in on the back side of the vellum with Stampin’ Up! markers.

Yes, the following cards have been embossed with the Big shot.

Material was adhered to Whisper White card stock used the new Big-Shot multi-purpose adhesive sheets. The material/card was then put though the Big Shot Die Cutting machine and cut with the Bigz Beautiful Die, then again with an embossing folder.

Top Note Card Box and Matching Quilt Cards

Aren’t these cards gorgeous!! The box opening is made with the Top Note Die and Big Shot. The cards also using the Top Note Die and Textured Embossing Folders. Instructions for making this set can be found here.

		Sympathy Cards VIEW SLIDE SHOW DOWNLOAD ALL

The first card in this set of sympathy cards is a CASE from the latest mini catalogue. In the next three cards I have embossed Vellum Cardstock using the Tulips Embossing Folder and the Bigshot Machine. The flower and butterfly are stamped using black Stazon ink and coloured in with Stampin’ Up! markers.

CD Case Mini Album

It’s been a while since I made one of these CD Case Mini Albums.

This album uses the georgeous Sunny Garden DSP from Stampin’ Up!, along with the matching Cottage Garden Stamp set (for the flowers and butterfluy) and the bird from the Punch Potpourri stamp set. The album holds six photos, and the front panel has a pouch to put in a gift card, a note or piece of memorabilia.

Isn’t this card georgeous!! Cased from “Bronwyn Eastley”. Uses the Stampin’ Up! Punch Potpourri 2010 Hostess set.

Saturday Afternoon Class

Last Saturday the ladies in my craft group made a selection of cards. Using the re-inker spreader technique and Stampin’ Up!Fifth Avenue Floral Stamp Set. One of the backgrounds was made using a faux tile technique. The blue and pink cards used the Big Shot and Top Note Die, combined with Textured Impressions Embossing Folders.

The leaves were made using the Big Shot and Little Leaves Sizzlet Die.
