Owl Creations

I’ve been busy making some items for up coming craft markets.

The first set of items are cute little pillow boxes made with the retired Stampin’ Up! pillow box die, these are cased from Rachael Hecker, who in turned cased them from Creations on Paper.

The 2nd set of items are little boxes using the retired Stampin’ Up! number 2 box die and the Big Shot. These boxes were also cased, this time from Kirsty Brown.

Birthday in a Box

I’ve been creating these lovely boxes, with matching note card and decorated birthday cake using a battery operated tea –light candle. I purchased the instructions for these delightful boxes from Victoria Rogers

This set of boxes uses the new Sale-a-bration Designer Series paper Sycamore Street and a retired Stampin’ Up! hostess set called Happiest Birthday Wishes.  Some of these boxes will be available for purchase at my next craft market.

ESAD sale-a-bration Blog Hop

I’ve got a special treat to share with you today! Not only does Sale-A-Bration start today, but  myself and my friends over at ESAD have joined together for another Blog Hop!  23 Demonstrators have made projects for you showcasing items from this brochure. So grab a cuppa, sit back and hop around the blogs!  Make sure you leave comments for all the fabulous ladies who put this hop together!  You may have started off the hop here, or you may have come from Nicole Derendorf, either way, join in!
What is ESAD?
ESAD stands for "Extra Special Australasian Demonstrators" and it is an on-line group just for Australian and New Zealand Stampin Up demonstrators.
We so love what we do and not only do we love to share it with our customers, friends, and wonderful blog visitors, but we share our love for what we do with each other as demonstrators. We run swaps, challenges, tutorials, product know-how, and cyber-stamps, and we are always there to help and support each other when it is needed.
So if you are a Stampin' Up! demonstrator located in Australia or New Zealand, then please feel free to click here to join our wonderful group
For this Blog Hop, I’ve made three separate projects, all made using the the Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper, and The Everyday Enchantment Ribbon and Brad Pack.  The fine Organdy Ribbon is gorgeous and the printed brads are really pretty.
The first project is a very pretty Wreath. Made with instructions from Fiona Duthie, for UStamp with Dawn and Friends – Lets Score!!
In this version I’ve also used the Big Shot and Beautiful Butterfly Bigz Die.
The Second project is a set of photograph albums using the Big Shot and the Top Note die.
The third project is another series of mini photo albums, made using empty CD cases.
Now, off you go to the next person in the blog hop, which is Leonie Schroder. She’s going to show you some more lovely projects.  If you get lost along the way, or find a broken link, here is the full list:

Southern Crafters Craft Market

Invercargill 13th &14th November 2011

Had a great weekend at the Southern Crafters Craft Market this weekend. The Top Note mini calendars were very popular and I received several orders for the Christmas boxes – in particular Mr and Mrs Santa.  I also had fun playing with the new Candy Wrapper die for the Big Shot that is coming in the next Mini Catalogue available from 1st December.

CD Case Mini Album

It’s been a while since I made one of these CD Case Mini Albums.

This album uses the georgeous Sunny Garden DSP from Stampin’ Up!, along with the matching Cottage Garden Stamp set (for the flowers and butterfluy) and the bird from the Punch Potpourri stamp set. The album holds six photos, and the front panel has a pouch to put in a gift card, a note or piece of memorabilia.

Birthday Books

I designed and taught these Birthday Books at a class last year. Each month has a different page for writing all the special birthdays.

Decorated using the Scribble This and Elegant Soiree Designer Paper.

Southern Crafters Market November 2010

I’ve finally gotten around to posting pictures of my stand at the latest Southern Crafters Market. The lady birds were on the front of boxes, this idea was Cased off the talented Marie Shaughnessy.

The brown (Vanilla scented), pink (Rose or Strawberry scented) and green (Apple scented) boxes contained scented and decorated candles.  They smelled glorious while making them. These were very popular as Christmas gifts. I also taught them in classes last year. These were Cased from Tanya Boser.

The calendars were a variety of types, with some free standing, magnetic or wall hanging.
