Men’s Card class.

Last Saturday a few ladies came around for one of my regular classes. They had chosen to make cards for men. My latest purchase was the Stampin’ Up! Woodgrain Stamp. I got a bit carried away with trying out my new stamp and we ended up making six cards. Most of these cards are cased from the Splitcoaststampers website. I can see me using the Woodgrain stamp for many more items.

The ladies and I really enjoyed using the new Stampin’ Up! Owl Punch along with the matching Owl Stamp from the latest Sale-a-Bration Brochure. The Owl Stamp belongs to the Punch Bunch set, which is one of four stamp sets available for free with every purchase over $120.0, until the end of March 2011.

Saturday Afternoon Class

Last Saturday the ladies in my craft group made a selection of cards. Using the re-inker spreader technique and Stampin’ Up!Fifth Avenue Floral Stamp Set. One of the backgrounds was made using a faux tile technique. The blue and pink cards used the Big Shot and Top Note Die, combined with Textured Impressions Embossing Folders.

The leaves were made using the Big Shot and Little Leaves Sizzlet Die.

Piano Gift Card Holder

I was asked by a friend to make a gift card holder for another male friend who was in to music of all kinds. This is what I came up with using the Big Shot, Top Note Die, and Word Window punch from Stampin’ Up!.

Birthday Books

I designed and taught these Birthday Books at a class last year. Each month has a different page for writing all the special birthdays.

Fancy Flower Punch Treat Tubes

These treat tubes have been inspired by Kim Score’s Gingerbread punch Treat Tube.  They were fun to make. The flowers on top were either made with the scallop circle punch or were cut and rolled. You can find the tutorial for making the rolled flowers here at Tania Gould’s blog.

The birds and owls were made with Stampin’ Up! punches. The owls were punched out of a piece of thin corkboard.

Southern Crafters Market November 2010

I’ve finally gotten around to posting pictures of my stand at the latest Southern Crafters Market. The lady birds were on the front of boxes, this idea was Cased off the talented Marie Shaughnessy.

The brown (Vanilla scented), pink (Rose or Strawberry scented) and green (Apple scented) boxes contained scented and decorated candles.  They smelled glorious while making them. These were very popular as Christmas gifts. I also taught them in classes last year. These were Cased from Tanya Boser.

The calendars were a variety of types, with some free standing, magnetic or wall hanging.

Purse Gift Card Holders

These Purse Gift Card Holders were very popular at the latest craft market.  They are simple and fun to make. Again using Stampin’ Up products. These have been Cased off some clever person off the internet. But sorry, I can’t figure out where to give you the credit.
