I hope you’re ready for the ESAD Big Shot Blog Hop!

What is ESAD?

ESAD stands for Extra Special Australasian Demonstrators and it is an online group just for Australian and New Zealand demonstrators for Stampin’ Up!

We so love what we do and not only do we love to share it with our customers, friends, and wonderful blog visitors but we share our love for what we do with each other as Demonstrators. We run swaps, challenges, tutorials, product know how and cyberstamps and we are always there to help and support each other when its needed.

So if you are a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator located in Australia or New Zealand then please feel free to click here to join our wonderful group.

I hope that you enjoy what I have done with the Big Shot and Top Note Die. I’ve also used the Friends Never Fade Stamp Set and the matching Greenhouse Gala Designer Series Paper. All from Stampin’ Up!

Card for a 50th Birthday Girl

I was asked to design a card to go on the top of a Chocolate cake to celebrate a friends sister’s 50th birthday. This was a fun card to make and I was very pleased with the final result. It is amazing what can be  done when you have all the tools and supplies. Stampin’ Up! makes it so easy with all their co-ordinating supplies.

I chose to make an easel card, in shades of Chocolate Chip and Rose Red. The background was stamped with the large flower from the Fifth Avenue Flower Stamp Set in Versamark, with Heat and Stick powder, followed by Dazzling Diamonds Glitter. The large scallop was made using the “Big Shot” and Bigz Scallop circle die, then embossed with the Manhattan flower embossing folder.

The 3d flower was made using alternating layers of Chocolate Chip and Rose Red cardstock, punched with the Stampin’ Up! scallop punch. The cardstock was softened by passing through a crimper lots of times, so that the fibres were broken down, and the cardstock separated into two layers.  Dazzling Diamonds were added to the flower using the “two way glue pen”.   The “two way glue pen” was also used to add a boarder of Dazzling Diamonds glitter around the photo.

(All supplies used are Stampin’ Up! unless otherwise stated.)

Un-convention Secret Sister Swap

For those of us who didn’t make it to the Stampin’ Up! Convention in Australia.

We were only supposed to sent 1 card and a 3D item to the value of $10. So it was a wonderful surprise to receive a lovely box all the way from Perth Australia with some lovely items from Chantell Randall.

Aren’t they just gorgeous!!

The Rich Razzleberry / Pretty in Pink one is made with the leaves from the 2 step bird punch, flower stamp from Fifth Avenue Floral (one of my favourite Stampin’ Up Stamp Sets)

Gorgeous coasters

These delightful coasters are decorated with Tea Party Designer paper. The bulkier flower is made by layering 8 layers of scallop circles punched out of Tea party DSP, they are scrunched, layered alternating sides face up and joined together with a brad.

The other flower is made of layers of a flower from the stamp set “Playful Petals”.

CD Album Sticker Labels

I came across these label stickers for CD’s and thought that it would be fun to jazz up all those CD’s lying around the house. Put your Wedding photos, Christmas, Family or Holiday photos on appropriately decorated CD’s!!

The Impossible Box!

This delightful box was designed by Paula Dobson. It’s called the impossible box because the lid is not a separate item it is actually part of the box. I’ve decorated the boxes with the new “Fox and Friends” stamp set and “Pocket Silhouettes” stamp set.

Post it Note Holders

These lovely little books hold a post-it-note pad. The 3d flowers are made with the Stampin’ Up! heart punch, folded in 1/2, sponged with ink and layered. The wooden button was sponged with ink to match.  The other flower from the Playful Petals stamp set, was stamped in basic black and coloured with aqua painters and ink from Stampin’ Up! ink pads. These were fun to make.

Scrapbooking layout

Stampin up 244 Stampin up 243

This lovely layout uses Riding Hood Red, Pretty in Pink  and Old Olive Card stock. The stamp set is Baroque Motifs.

The delicate scallop boarder is made using the Stampin’ Up! slit punch.  Contact me if you want instructions for anything that interests you or to purchase any Stampin’ Up! products.

Is it a bird punch or a flower?

The new Stampin’ Up! bird punch is so versatile. I am so enjoying using this punch!!

The flowers on this lovely card were made using the birds wings as petals, and highlighted using a white gel pen.

Sweet Treat Cups

The new Summer Mini Catalogue has some awesome products. New punches; Butterfly and a large 1 – 3/4” circle, both with coordinating stamp sets. The large circle punches out circles the right size for the new Sweet Treat Cups, they are ideal for filling with lollies, or as a shaker card. I made up several cards using the Sweet Treat Cups and the coordinating stamp set “Something Sweet” for my open day. These cards were really fun to do!!
