Christmas Table Decorations

I had an order last month for some little boxes for each person on the Christmas table.

The order was for white boxes with silver and sparkle. I’m quite pleased with how the boxes turned out. I’ve used the stocking punch and matching stamp set. The stockings have been embossed with silver embossing powder, and the cuff, toe and heel punched from the new Stampin’ Up! glitter paper. The boxes themselves are made with the help of the Big Shot and Top Note die.

Summer Mini Catalogue Blog Hop

What is ESAD?
ESAD stands for "Extra Special Australasian Demonstrators" and it is an on-line group just for Australian and New Zealand Stampin Up demonstrators.
We so love what we do and not only do we love to share it with our customers, friends, and wonderful blog visitors, but we share our love for what we do with each other as demonstrators. We run swaps, challenges, tutorials, product know-how, and cyber-stamps, and we are always there to help and support each other when it is needed.
So if you are a Stampin' Up! demonstrator located in Australia or New Zealand, then please fee free to click here to join our wonderful group.
The Designer Series Paper used in the above card and 3D items is a delightful paper called “Spice Cake”. These items are all made with the Big Shot,  and dies. The card uses the square scallop die and a selection of Stampin’ Up! punches and stamps.
The 3D items all use a new exclusive Stampin’ Up! Bigz L Die called “Candy Wrapper”. In the second photo three different sizes of candy wrappers have been made by the same die.  The 6 sided box is also made from the candy wrapper – showing how versatile this cute little box can be.
Some of the boxes are also decorated with the new Stampin’ Up! Triple Layer Punch. This punch punches out a choice of three different shapes with the slide of catch.  The 3D flower is made with several layers of the centre portion of this punch.
If you have been following this Blog Hop, you  may have arrived from the talented Richelle Fletcher .
The next Blog on the Hop belongs to the lovely Nicky Adamson. Hope you are enjoying this Hop along the Blogs and have found some inspiration along the way.

Southern Crafters Craft Market

Invercargill 13th &14th November 2011

Had a great weekend at the Southern Crafters Craft Market this weekend. The Top Note mini calendars were very popular and I received several orders for the Christmas boxes – in particular Mr and Mrs Santa.  I also had fun playing with the new Candy Wrapper die for the Big Shot that is coming in the next Mini Catalogue available from 1st December.

Cards with embossed Fabric

Yes, the following cards have been embossed with the Big shot.

Material was adhered to Whisper White card stock used the new Big-Shot multi-purpose adhesive sheets. The material/card was then put though the Big Shot Die Cutting machine and cut with the Bigz Beautiful Die, then again with an embossing folder.

Star Card Photograph Album

This is my first attempt at making a star photograph album, I’m quite pleased with how it turned out.

The photos are of my teenagers Year 13 High School Ball.

The theme was a winter one, hence the snowflakes. Her dress was purple with silver embroidery and sequins, so I embossed the snowflakes with silver embossing powder.

All products used were Stampin’ Up! except the ribbon, and die cut letters, and silver card, for the front page.

The stamp set used was Snow Swirled with Baroque Border wheel.

Christmas Card Class

During our last Saturday afternoon class we made a selection of Christmas cards using the Stampin’ Up! stamp Dasher. Although he was also called Rudolph and Prancer in the class!! LOL!  Two of the cards were embossed with gold embossing powder. The third card also used the Lovely as a Tree Stamp set.

Although the pictured pillow die boxes shown have a lovely chocolate theme, (Eat Chocolate Stamp Set) the ones we made in class were Christmas themed.

Next weeks class will be a continuation of Christmas themed cards, but with a punch art flare added.

Easel Cards

A few weeks ago at my Saturday afternoon class we had a go at making several different varieties of easel cards.  The are wonderful show case cards and were fun to do.

These cards all used the Big shot and Dies. Scallop Circle Die, Bigz Butterly Die, Blossom Party Die.

Sorry I can’t find where I cased the Butterfly card from to give them credit.

The Circle easel card also used the Circle Scissors Plus to cut the large circles and the petal punch for the tiny message envelope. The top circle was cut out of glossy white card, trees embossed with black embossing powder and then brayered in blue and green.

We also made two other cards not pictured, a tiny easel card with the small butterflies from the Bigz Butterfly Die and another easel card using the Top Note Die.

Cards With Dimension

They were fun cards to do

Stampin’ Pastels! Chalk Techniques

At a recent class I demonstrated different uses of Stampin’ Up!’s Stampin’ Pastels (Chalks)

We tried, Poppin’ Pastels (chalk with Versamark), Blackboard (Whisper White Craft ink with chalk, on dark background) and a few other techniques. The ladies were all given a 14 page handout with lots of other ways to used chalk.
