Southern Crafters Craft Show – Stadium Southland November 2009

This weekend Paula, Renee and myself had a combined Stampin’ Up! stall at this local twice yearly market. This is the 3rd time that Paula and I have had a Stampin’ Up! stall at the Stadium, and the 1st time that Renee has joined us. A big thank you to all of you who visited us, especially with the weather not being too flash.

The CD Jewel case photo albums were particularly popular, along with the candy case mice with the children.

 

As it was a Christmas Craft show, I decorated up a tree with tinsel and used it to display Stampin’ Up! cards for sale.

Christmas Stamp – A - Stack

The Silly Season is nearly here!! I have planned more ‘stamp-a-stack’ sessions.  All those coming  will make 8 cards - 2 each of these 4 designs.  If you would like to enrol for a session contact me to register, jacinta997@woosh.co.nz

Extravaganza Thank You

Technique University Monthly Meeting.

Once a month a group of ladies meet at my house for a “Technique University Session”, from 1 – 4 pm. Everyone gets to try the techniques and gets to take home the sample they have made along with instructions, to be filed in a clear file. During this time we learn 16 new techniques, last month the techniques learned were:

Class cost is $25: – $5 for class costs and $20 credit towards purchasing items from any current Stampin’ Up! Catalogue.

Cool Choo Choo Train, Right on Track

I just love this stamp set and co-coordinating wheel, available from the Spring Mini Catalogue.

These are so versatile, they can be used for Birthday cards or Baby cards. The wheel makes a cool winding track and could also be used as a farm fence.

Stampin’ Up! Craft Extravaganza

Location: The new Army Hall situated at the continuation of Fox Street, over the railway line towards Richardson Drive.

Saturday October 17th

10 am till 4 pm

This will be a fun day! Make some great Christmas Creations. You will take home 6 items (3 cards and 3 projects) - loads of variety.

Three Stampin’ Up Demonstrators who will guide you through the techniques and be on hand to assist you.

Receive a $5 voucher to put towards all orders taken on the day.!!

Purse Nail File Holders

Aren’t these Nail File Holders just gorgeous. They are made with white glossy card stock, using the Versamark resist method and a brayer. Coloursand stamp sets used are: Pixie Pink (Petal Pizzazz), Glorious Green & Real Red (Baroque Motifs), Kiwi Kiss (Priceless), Night of Navy (Ocean Commotion), Tangerine Tango (Flight of the Butterfly) and the multi coloured ones have Summer Sun, Pumpkin Pie and Ruby Red (Spotlight on Christmas & Nursery Necessities). The ends have been crimped with a Stampin’ Up! crimper. They are designed to keep your nail file tidy in your hand bag. I cased the design off Valerie Stangle’s blog

Belated Birthday Card

A while ago my lovely up-line Vicki sent me a beautiful birthday card. Using the Fifth Avenue Floral Stampin’ Up! stamp set on white glossy card. Doesn’t it look gorgeous?  And the added zing of Dazzling Diamonds glitter just sets it off lovely.

During August and September I will be running Stamp a Stack Classes. Make up to 15 cards at a class for the cost of $2 per card. All cards are pre-cut into packs, they need to be stamped and assembled.

Here are a few of the cards we will be making

Class Dates:

Thursday 20th August 7 pm

Tuesday 8th September 7pm

Saturday 12th September 1pm.

All classes are held at 47 Tanner Street, Grasmere, Invercargill.

You will need to provide your preferred adhesive (glue sticks / double sided tape). Bring your own bone scorer, scissors, cutting mat etc if you have them.

Bookings are essential so that I have enough kits prepared.
