AUTUMN/WINTER Mini Catalogue BLOG HOP

What is ESAD?

ESAD stands for Extra Special Australasian Demonstrators and it is an online group just for Australian and New Zealand demonstrators for Stampin’ Up!
We so love what we do and not only do we love to share it with our customers, friends, and wonderful blog visitors but we share our love for what we do with each other as Demonstrators. We run swaps, challenges, tutorials, product know how and cyberstamps and we are always there to help and support each other when its needed.
So if you are a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator located in Australia or New Zealand then please feel free to click here to join our wonderful group.

I hope that you enjoy what I have done with the new Tulips Embossing Folder and the stamp set “Thanks for Caring” from the latest Mini Catalogue.

The first card in this set of sympathy cards is a CASE from the latest mini catalogue. In the next three cards I have embossed Vellum Cardstock using the Tulips Embossing Folder and the Bigshot Machine. The flower and butterfly are stamped using black Stazon ink and coloured in with Stampin’ Up! markers.

So now you can hop off and see what Clare Mcilhatton has been creating. It doesn't matter where you joined the hop click on the link above to Clare’s blog and then carry on through the blog hop until you get back to where you started.

ESAD Secret Sister for Easter

For Easter this year I took part in a secret sister swap with ESAD (Extra Special Australia and New Zealand Demonstrators for Stampin’ Up!) I had to send my secret sister parcel over to Australia.  In return I received a rather large box from Vicky-Lee Mueller in Auckland. It was rather delightful to open the box and see all the wonderful items.

There were lots of goodies inside including chocolate (which didn’t last till Easter lol), delightful punch are animals, gifts for the pet dog and cat and other members of my family. There was also a beautiful butterfly flip flop album, with a delightful butterfly belly band.

CD Case Mini Album

It’s been a while since I made one of these CD Case Mini Albums.

This album uses the georgeous Sunny Garden DSP from Stampin’ Up!, along with the matching Cottage Garden Stamp set (for the flowers and butterfluy) and the bird from the Punch Potpourri stamp set. The album holds six photos, and the front panel has a pouch to put in a gift card, a note or piece of memorabilia.

Isn’t this card georgeous!! Cased from “Bronwyn Eastley”. Uses the Stampin’ Up! Punch Potpourri 2010 Hostess set.

Workshop and Class cards.

This gift tag and bookmark set was cased from the talented Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator: Shirley McAvoy. I had a workshop with some special ladies who loved owls!! They were impressed!

We also made this really nice card, using the 2011 Punch Bunch Sale-a-bration stamp set. And also the hostess set Punch Potpourri.  This card was cased from someone!! Sorry my computer is broken, and I can’t find where I got it from. So sorry I can’t give the very creative crafty lady the credit for this wonderful card.

This card was done a while ago at a class.  The technique for the “lace” was done using the Stampin’ Up! Medallion Stamp. This card was also “cased” from a wonderful card maker Patty Bennett.

Latest Mini Catalogue

We have a new campaign which is our Strength and Hope set. This is a pretty set and for every set which is sold, Stampin Up are donating $2 to Breast Cancer. For those ladies who love sewing there are some fantastic new sets for you especially. Click on the catalogue picture to view. I will be using some new items from this mini for my next class on the 16th April 2011.

Scrapbooking Class

My lovely group of ladies came round yesterday for a scrapbooking class.

We had an enjoyable time making a variety of projects.

The directions for the Scallop Envelope Mini Book, can be found at www.inkpaperart.com. Although we decorated them with extra butterflies. The envelopes are made with Stampin’ Up!’s Envelope Die, and inside each envelope is a pull out card for your favourite photos!

I recently joined the UStamp With Dawn and Friends!! – Oh My Word!! Edition 2011. The above Gatefold Mini Album tutorial was created by Danielle Daws.  The tutorial was fairly easy to understand and my ladies thought the finished project was really good.

Our third project for the afternoon was a simple photo album using the Stampin’ Up! Top Note Die. This was very effective and easy to do.  The butterflies were cut out of felt using the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Butterflies Die.
